I've got to start with some quick disclaimers here.  First, the steps in this how-to guide are not easy.  If you are a customer of ours, we will do this for you.  You do not have to struggle with this.  Let us know and we'll set you up.  Second, this how-to guide applies to our customers or those who are using DotNetNuke websites.  If that is you, proceed.

  1. Create and edit your video.
  2. Upload it to your YouTube account.
  3. Grab the url to your new video.
  4. Go to your website and decide where you want the video to be placed.
  5. Log in to your site as the administrator.
  6. At the top of the page, choose 'Add a new module'.
  7. Pick "SVS YouTube Viewer" from the list of modules.
  8. Give it a simple name
  9. Set the visibility to be "Same as Page"
  10. Choose which pane you want to put it in.  (This will determine its location on the page).
  11. Click "Add module to Page".  You should now see your YouTube Viewer.
  12. Click the dropdown on the left side of the YouTube Viewer and choose "Settings"
  13. In the URL box, type or paste in the url where your YouTube video can be found.
  14. Put in the width and height.  It is best to choose one of these options: 340x285, 445x364, 500x405, or 660x525.
  15. Choose your background colors.  Get close to your site's colors.
  16. Choose show border or not.
  17. Click the Update button at the bottom.

If you have problems with this, feel free to give us a call or email.  We'd love to help you with this.
